Where bundle vendors come from
01
Wholesale suppliers
They sell their own bundles, closures and frontals at trade pricing, usually with a minimum per order. The quickest way to start, because the product already exists.
02
Private-label factories
They pack the hair under your brand name and often add your own labels, bags and boxes. Expect higher minimums and longer lead times.
03
Marketplaces
Alibaba, AliExpress and DHgate host thousands of hair sellers. Good for finding candidates and ordering samples, but each seller is a separate business, so vet each one on its own.
04
Trade shows
Beauty and hair trade shows let you touch the hair and meet the supplier. Most need a buyer registration and a business license or resale certificate.
Virgin, Remy and raw: what the labels mean
- Virgin: human hair that has never been colored, permed or chemically processed.
- Remy: human hair collected so every strand runs the same way, root to tip, with the cuticle kept. That is what helps it tangle less.
- Non-Remy: human hair with the cuticles mixed or stripped. Cheaper, and more likely to tangle and mat over time.
- Raw: usually sold as unprocessed hair from a single donor, but vendors use the word loosely. Ask exactly what they mean by it.
Grades are not a standard
Numbers like 10A or 12A are set by each vendor. One vendor's 12A can be another's 8A. Compare samples, not grade numbers.
What to ask a bundle vendor
- Where the hair comes from, and whether it is virgin, Remy or processed.
- Bundle weight, and the lengths and textures they stock.
- Their minimum order quantity (MOQ), in writing.
- A paid sample of the exact texture and length you plan to sell.
- Production time, shipping time and customs duties for your first order size.
- What happens if bundles arrive damaged, wrong or shedding.

Compare samples side by side
Order a sample from two or three vendors at the same time, so you compare them in the same week, with the same eyes.
- Does it match the photos and the description you were sold?
- Run your fingers down the weft. A few loose strands are normal; a handful is not.
- Wash it once. Note any smell, dye coming out, or a change in texture.
- Brush it out and style it. Does it tangle, frizz or hold a curl?
- Would you sell this to your best friend at full price?

Questions people ask
Where can I find vendors for human hair bundles?+
From four places: wholesale hair suppliers, private-label factories, marketplaces such as Alibaba, AliExpress and DHgate, and beauty trade shows. Use a vendor list to find candidates, then vet each one and order a paid sample before you buy in bulk.
Where do hair vendors get their hair from?+
It varies by vendor, and many will not say unless you ask. Ask every vendor where its hair comes from and whether it is virgin, Remy or processed, and get the answer in writing.
What is the difference between virgin and Remy hair?+
Virgin hair has never been chemically processed. Remy hair keeps its cuticles running the same direction, root to tip, which helps it tangle less. Hair can be both, either, or neither, so ask the vendor which it is.
Do hair grades like 10A or 12A mean anything?+
Not across vendors. Each vendor sets its own grades, so the numbers cannot be compared from one supplier to another. Judge the sample, not the label.
How do I know if a bundle vendor is legit?+
A real address and contact page, a reply within two business days, the minimum order in writing, real photos of the actual hair, a payment method with buyer protection, and a paid sample that matches the photos. If they only take wire, Zelle, crypto or gift cards, walk away.
